Waylon M. Fletcher, age 1, of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born in Dayton on September 16, 2024, the son of Tori Williams and Tyler Fletcher.
Waylon was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Charles Branson, Donald “Ed” Williams, and George “Mr. George” McCloud and his great-grandmother, Cheryl Williams.
Waylon leaves behind his mother, Tori Williams; father, Tyler Fletcher, grandmothers “grammy”, Bridget Branson; grandmother, Andera Bush; great-grandmother, “nana”, Robin Branson; great-grandmothers, Cheryl "Sherry" Turner-Williams and Marilyn Bush-McCloud; great-great grandmother, Betty Stamper, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Though Waylon’s time on Earth with us was short, he will leave a lasting impact and hold a special place in our hearts forever.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 1-2pm in the ARPP, ROOT & CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 29 N. Main St., Germantown, where a celebration of Waylon’s life will begin at 2:00pm. A private burial will take place in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg at a later date.
