Sigrid Minge

Minge, Sigrid, age 83 of Germantown passed away October 24, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton.  She was born to the late Stephen and Emma Jean (Morgan) Kalnai on April 4, 1932 in Middletown, OH.  Sigrid was loved by many and known for her never ending passion for reading, children, and volunteering.  She spent most of her time volunteering at the Germantown Library helping with crafts and reading, at Love is a Hug pre-school, and reading to children at Valley View Schools.  Sigrid was also involved in the Boy Scouts, and in planning of the Pretzel Festival in Germantown, as well as the Memorial Day and 4th of July festivities that took place.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband "Bill" William Minge.  She is survived by her son Mike Minge, and daughter Toni "Sissy" Cruze.

There will be a gathering of friends with a brief memorial service on November 21, 2015 at Monroe Methodist Church from 1:00-3:00.
