Robert L. Riner

Robert L. Riner, of Germantown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2026, at Hospice of Dayton. He was 90 years old.

Born on March 21, 1936, in Germantown, Robert lived a long life marked by hard work and a deep enjoyment of the outdoors. He worked in road management and retired from Montgomery County, a career that reflected his steady dedication and commitment.

Outside of work, Robert was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outside. He also found pleasure in traveling to the casino, especially vacationing in Las Vegas, a pastime that brought him enjoyment over the years.

Robert is survived by 2 children, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.  He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Faye Riner, his parents Frank and Mable Riner, and 5 siblings.

He will be remembered for the life he lived, the work he did, and the simple things he enjoyed most. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.

Bob will be laid to rest at Germantown Union Cemetery, next to his wife Faye during a private committal service.
