Robert Caplinger

Caplinger, Robert, age 90 of Germantown passed away July 21, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton.  He was born in Lebanon, IN to the late Carmon and Pearl (Alfrey) Caplinger.  Robert worked as an electrician for NCR for 40 years and loved to listen to big band music.  He is preceded in death by his brother Carmon Jr., and his sister Thelma Haas.  He is survived by his wife Ruth Ann Caplinger; his sons Bob Caplinger and Phil Caplinger both of Germantown;  daughter Susan Schweitzer of Germantown; brother Norman (Barbara) Caplinger of South Carolina; 3 grandchildren John (Anita) Caplinger, Susan (Johnny) Legate, and Jennifer (Jonathan) Moore; and 5 great grandchildren.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 5-7pm at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St. Germantown, OH with a brief memorial service at 7:00 with Pastor Todd Smith officiating.
