Robert J. Bevington Sr.

With loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Robert J. Bevington Sr., who departed this life on August 9, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on April 24, 1941, in West Alexandria, Robert’s journey through life was marked by a steadfast devotion to family, and a quiet strength that enriched the lives of all who knew him.

Robert’s legacy is deeply intertwined with the many cherished family relationships he nurtured throughout his years. He is survived by his children, Rob (Darla Melton) Bevington and Jenn (Greg Dick) Bevington; granddaughter Brittany (Brandon) Harrison; and his great-grandchildren Peyton McGinnis, Kade McGinnis, Barrett Harrison, and Emmett Harrison, each of whom brought immense pride and joy to his days.

He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Bevington; and his grandson Shane Bevington.

A Funeral Service in Robert’s honor will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Arpp, Root, Carter Funeral Home, located at 29 N. Main Street, Germantown, OH 45327. Following the service, a Graveside Service will take place at 11:30 AM at Germantown Union Cemetery, 11179 W Market St., Germantown, OH 45327, where he will be laid to rest.
