Rita Tirey

Tirey, Rita L., age 69 of Germantown passed away September 21, 2015.  She was born to the late Victor and Louise (Kraft) Kemplin in Middletown, OH.  Rita retired from Miamisburg Mound and enjoyed selling and collecting Longaberger baskets, she resided in Florida for 20 years before moving back to Ohio.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Tip Collins Sr., brother Billy Kemplin, and sister Murlene Richards.  She is survived by her sons Tip (Christa) Collins, and Sean (Angie) Collins, brothers Vernon and Tommy Kemplin, grandchildren Teddi, Amber and Zachary Collins, and 4 great grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 7:30 PM at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St.  Germantown, OH with Pastor Todd Velte officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to Crossroads Hospice, 8069 Washington Village Dr.  Dayton, OH  45458.
