Richard "Dick" Waits

Richard Waits, age 94 of Germantown, OH passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025 in Colorado.  He was born November 30, 1931 to the late Oda May and Vonza Ord Waits and attended Franklin High School.  Dick served his country in the Ohio National Guard, and during the Korean War, he enlisted in the Air Force and served for nearly 7 years.  Dick married Janice McDonald on November 26, 1955 and retired from Armco after 35 years, he also owned and operated Waits Industrial Machinery in Farmersville, OH for many years.  Dick is survived by his wife Janice Waits, his children Richard Marion, Susan, Lisa, and Lori, along with 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous extended family members and dear friends.   Per Dick's request, graveside services with military honors will be held privately for the family at Germantown Union Cemetery.
