Pauline Cornett, a beloved mother and friend passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at Kingston of Miamisburg after a brief illness. She was born on May 1, 1935, in Breathitt County, Kentucky, and carried with her the values instilled by her upbringing throughout her life.
Pauline attended Breathitt County High School, where she laid the foundation for a life characterized by kindness and nurturing spirit. As a homemaker, she devoted herself to her family, creating a warm and loving environment that exemplified her kind-hearted nature.
She had a passion for vegetable gardening, sewing, and quilting, activities through which she expressed her creativity and love. Pauline took pride in nurturing plants and crafting beautiful handmade items that brought joy to her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Mike (Geri) Cornett, who carries on her legacy of love and care. Pauline is preceded in death by her parents Shelby and Bertha (Smith) Stamper; her husband Lawrence Cornett; and her brothers Ike (Unie) Stamper and Bud (Mabel) Stamper. Each of these individuals shaped her life in significant ways, and their memories will be honored by those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on February 19, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, both at Arpp, Root, Carter Funeral Home, 29 N. Main Street in Germantown, Ohio. Burial will follow at Germantown Union Cemetery where Pauline will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Lawrence.
Pauline's gentle spirit and nurturing heart will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends as they remember her warmth and kindness.
