Loren L. George

George, Loren LeRoy, age 85 of Germantown passed away December 9, 2021 at ProMedica in Miamisburg. He was born in Homer, NY to the late Henry and Grace (Seaman) George, Sr and was a US Army Veteran. Loren was a member of Grace Gospel Church in Carlisle, enjoyed collecting eagles, and loved going to high school football games with his brother Henry. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy George in 2009, his daughter Theresa, his son Chip, and his sister Barb Knight. Loren is survived by his children Lillian, William, Linda, Gracie, Tracy, his brother Henry George, his sister Ona Coons, and numerous grandchildren and extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 1:00PM at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St., Germantown OH 45327 with Pastor Mike Worrell officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00am.
