Lillian Oswalt

Oswalt, Lillian M. age 88 of Germantown passed away Friday April 28, 2006 at Winchester Place Nursing Center in Canal Winchester, OH. Lillian was born in Dayton, OH, on April 8, 1918, to the late Arthur E. and Jeannette E. (Schultz) Schenck. Lillian was a member of Germantown Baptist Chapel, and was known as the Licorice Lady of Ron Heights. She was a retired Bookkeeper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald W. Oswalt, a brother Robert Schenck. She is survived by a step daughter Sally Krell, of Seattle, WA; a brother Donald A. (Barbara) Schenck, of Cincinnati; two sisters Gerturde K. Ross, of Reynoldsburg, OH and Mary Cunningham of Canal Winchester, OH sister in law Erline Schenck, of Centerville and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, Germantown, Pastor Andy Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Germantown Baptist Chapel, 343 Farmersville Pike Germantown, Ohio 45327 in Lillian memory.
