Kathurn "Kathy" (Profitt) Veino, a loving daughter, devoted caregiver, and cherished family member, was born on October 3, 1957, in Middletown, Ohio. After dedicating her life to the care and love of the elderly, Kathy left a profound impact on those she interacted with, especially through her compassionate work that spanned many years. She attended nursing school at Dayton Nursing School, where she honed her skills that would later define her remarkable career.
Kathy was known to many as the best, renowned for her loving and giving spirit. She approached life with a radiant smile and an unwavering empathy that made her a beloved figure in her community. Family was everything to Kathy; her nieces and nephews were not just relatives but her own children in her heart. She nurtured them with kindness and affection.
It is with deep sadness that we announce Kathy's passing on July 6, 2025. She left this world alongside her special friend of 21 years, Doug Daughetee.
Kathy is survived by her beloved family, including her siblings: Geraldine Sutton, Gene H. Profitt, Linda (Tom) O'Hair, Elma (Kenny) Snelling, May Profitt, and Keith Profitt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Goldie (Miller) Profitt, and by her niece, Elizabeth Mary Snelling, as well as her nephew, Jeremy S. Profitt.
As we remember Kathy, let us carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to family. Her memory will always shine brightly in our lives, a testament to the countless ways she touched the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
