Karen D. Lamb, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home on May 24, 2026. Born on February 10, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, Karen’s life was marked by dedication, warmth, and an enduring sense of humor that brightened the lives of all who knew her.
Karen attended Julienne High School, and went on to work at Cassano's Pizza, where her caring nature and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Throughout her life, she was known for being loving, considerate, and unselfish, qualities that defined her relationships and her approach to life. She also nurtured a special fondness for the music of Elvis, which brought her much joy.
Karen’s family was the cornerstone of her happiness. She was the devoted wife of Danny Lamb for 61 years until his passing. Her love extended to her son Dan Lamb and her cherished grandchildren: Nicolas (Audra) Lamb, Brent Lamb, Jodi Parker, and Jason Parker, as well as her life-long friend, Mary Bascombe. She took pride in her numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who all brought her immense joy and comfort in her later years. Karen was predeceased by her son Christopher Lamb, her daughter Carolyn “Gigie” Parker, and her brother Thomas Schroll.
Her visitation will be held on June 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Arpp, Root, Carter Funeral Home located at 29 N. Main Street, Germantown, Ohio. Following the visitation, a funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m., burial at Hillgrove Cemetery following the service. Friends, family, and all whose lives were touched by Karen are invited to pay their respects during these times.
Karen D. Lamb’s legacy is one of compassion, and steadfast devotion to her family and community. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her loving spirit and the joy she brought into the lives of so many.
