In fond memory of my loving wife Jean Annette Dynes. She was born at Middletown Hospital on June 16, 1957 to John and Alma Apple. Annette grew up in Germantown with a loving family. She graduated from Valley View High School in 1975. She excelled in her academics, was an honor student, and was the class secretary. Annette also placed 1st in extemporaneous speaking at Regionals; then, placed 2nd at State, and 27th at the National Level. She was also 3rd runner up at the Ohio State Fair Queen pageant. Annette worked at Garden Manor for over 20 years. She was the Director of H.R., then she served as V.P. of Policies and Procedures before retiring in March, 2015. Annette was dearly loved by the residents and the staff of G.M. as she was kind, considerate, and showed a lot of love to all. On January 5, 2016 we celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary, and although we prayed for a long life together, God called for her on January 13, 2016. Her life has been full, and we savored the world together, but she could not stay with me or her family for another day. My words can’t explain the depth of my love, nor can I ever fill the void in my heart. Annette was a shining example for all as a wife, mother, grandma (Nona) in her word, conduct, love, and in her faith and purity. She is survived by her husband Randy Dynes, daughters Kimberly Jean-Anne Swigart, Beatrix Lydia Timmermans, Karly Banks, sons Kyle and Taylor Dynes, grandchildren Cayden Banks, Christopher Keaton Swigart, Harper Banks, Champ Banks, parents John and Donetta Apple, Alma Cox, brothers Doug and Ben Apple, sister Darla and son in law Jon Landry. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St. Germantown, Interment at Twin Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 on Sunday January 17 at the funeral home.
