Geraldine Mobley

Geraldine "Jerrie" Mobley, age 83 of Germantown, OH went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 20, 2023. She was born in Dayton, OH to the late Raymond and Tillie (Grill) Behnken, graduated from Trotwood Madison High School and then obtained her bachelor's degree in education from Wittenberg University. Jerrie retired after 34 years of teaching elementary education at Jefferson and Valley View schools. Jerrie attended Germantown First Church of God, and was loved by all who knew her.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jack Mobley and her daughter Cheryl Zehr.

Jerrie is survived by her daughter Kila (Phillip) Keeton of Salyersville, KY, her son-in-law Dan Zehr of Springboro, OH, one sister Karen Carney of Beavercreek, OH, 2 granddaughters Beth Conley and Brittany Keeton of Salyersville, KY, 3 grandsons, Daniel Zehr of Springboro, OH, Keith Zehr of Germantown, OH, and Caston (Shaina) Keeton of Richmond, KY and 1 great granddaughter Johanna Keeton of Salyersville, KY. As well as numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 5-8PM at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27th, 2023 at 12PM at the Germantown First Church of God, 760 Farmersville Pike, Germantown, OH 45327, burial immediately following at Germantown Union Cemetery.
