Gary "Randy" Helton

Gary "Randy" Helton, age 72 of Miamisburg, OH went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 22, 2022. He was born in Kentucky to the late Charles and Lydia (Lewis) Helton. Randy was the pastor at Temple of Praise in Miamisburg for 33 years, he loved the Lord and his family dearly, he also retired from General Motors, was quite a handyman and enjoyed carpentry work. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Kenny Helton and his sister in law Margie Helton. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Sharon Helton, his children Gary (Shannon) Helton, Angie (Todd) Abner, Tim Helton, grandchildren Gary (Karly) Helton III, Josh (Ashley) Helton, Robyn (Seth) Kelly, Samuel Abner, Ethan Abner, great grandchildren Jayden, Chloe, Clayton, Logan, Kairi, and Malcolm Helton, brothers Glenn (Linda) Helton, Jimmy (Shanda) Helton, Joe (Brenda) Helton, Lonnie Helton, and sister in law Kay Helton, along with numerous extended family members and dear friends. The family will receive friends for a visitation at the Temple of Praise Church, 9840 Clearcreek Franklin Rd. Miamisburg, OH 45342 on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2:00-4:00PM. Funeral services will be on Monday, February 28, 2022 at the church beginning at 10:00am with Pastor Sammy Reed officiating, burial immediately following at Springboro Cemetery.
