Edna McCall

Edna L.McCall,  age 90, of Germantown, OH  passed away Tuesday  May 13, 2014 at her residence. Edna was born in Germantown, OH on December 22, 1923, to the late Richard and Mildred (Barkalow) Gehron. She was a member of Germantown United Methodist Church, Twin Valley Garden Club, Charter Oak Grange and a former member of Moraine Senior Citizens. Edna retired from the Salvation Army.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John McCall, daughter Rosalie, brothers Ray & Cecil Gehron, sisters Ethel Askins and JoAnn Haller. She is survived by son Dick (Mary Jane) Brockman of Germantown, daughters Margaret (Dean) Gray of West Alexandria,  Linda(David) Welton of Miamisburg, brothers David (Loretta) Gehron, Rick Gehron and Fred (Karen) Gehron; sisters Evelyn Smith, Rosemary Stevens and Ann (John) Weaver; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren,  numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. (noon), Wednesday March 21, 2014 at Germantown United Methodist Church, 525 Farmersville Pike, Germantown with Pastor Gary Wheeler officiating.  Burial Germantown Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. until time of service (2 hrs. prior) at the church on Wednesday.  If desired memorial contributions may be made to Germantown United Methodist Church Building Fund or Germantown Fire/ E.M.S. Arrangements by Arpp & Root Funeral Home Germantown.
