Cynthia Weidle

Cynthia M. Weidle, age 63 of Germantown passed away peacefully on December 22, 2020 with her children by her side. She was born in Adelphi, MD to Kenneth Jones and the late Margaret (Susan) Jones. Cindi worked at the Montgomery County Learning Center with special needs children and was a member of the First Church of God in Germantown. Not only was Cindi a member of the church, she was a true servant of God who loved digging deeper into the word of God and had a special way connecting with everyone, especially children. Cindi was tenacious with family and friends alike and as one person said, "everyone should have a friend like Cindi". She was known for her contagious laugh, sense of humor and the ability to tell stories. Cindi loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her friend and father of her children, Ron Weidle, Jr., her brother Kenneth Jones, and her aunt Margie. Cindi is survived by her children Trey Weidle, Tara Weidle and Taylor Weidle, her step-daughter Heather Cornelius, her grandchildren Bradyn, Brody, and Braylee Gibbs, her cousins Jimmy and Michael Kosegi, her dear friends Jim and Darlene Raker, and the whole Weidle family whom she loved dearly. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 12:00PM at the First Church of God, 760 Farmersville Pike, Germantown. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the First Church of God in memory of Cindi.
