Carol Pozzi

Carol E. Pozzi, age 78 of Germantown, OH passed away at her home on April 11, 2023. Carol was born in Dayton, OH to the late Carl and Irene (Bowman) Armstrong and graduated from Farmersville High School. Carol loved to sew and read, but most of all she loved being a wife and mom. Carol loved being a mom so much that she and her husband, Frank fostered over 50 children for 30 years. During those years she was also a girl scout leader and a band parent. Along with her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother Dearold Armstrong. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dr. Frank Pozzi, daughters Michele Pozzi (Chris Craig) (Lynn, IN), Maribeth Simpson (Germantown, OH), granddaughter Victoria Blake (Miamisburg, OH), grandson Clayton Simpson (US Navy, NC), great grandchildren Teagen Flory, Garrett Simpson, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 5-6PM at the Farmersville United Methodist Church, 110 W. Center Street, Farmersville OH 45325 with a memorial service beginning at 6:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the American Heart Society in memory of Carol.
