Hickle, Carl E. “Buggy”, age 83 of Farmersville passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 as the result of a traffic accident. He was born January 27, 1933 in Maysville, KY to the late Carl and Margaret (Howell) Hickle. Carl was in the Air Force during the Korean War and retired from Dayton Walther. He was a longtime member of Farmersville United Methodist Church, enjoyed being active, loved the outdoors, and was a country boy at heart and enjoyed working with his cattle and on his farm. Carl was the most dedicated father, grandfather, and great grandfather his family could ask for and will be tremendously missed. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Bea (2001) and 9 siblings. He is survived by his children Danny (Mary) Hickle; Susie (Alan) Brill; Michele (Bob) Setterbo; and Cheryl Peters (Scott). His grandkids Brian (Jill) Hickle; Laura (Winfield) Geiger; Danielle (Michael) Obringer; Scotty (Lacey) Brill; Sarah (Hamilton) Alley; Samantha Setterbo (Micah); Travis Setterbo; Ross Peters; Morgan Peters (Bryan); and Haylee (Chris) Petelle. His great grandkids Wyatt, Colby, Jackson Hickle; Ridge Petelle; and Ella Bea Geiger, and his sister Peg O’Cull. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 28 at 10:00am at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St. Germantown with Pastor Patty Matthews officiating, interment immediately following at Holp Cemetery in Farmersville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27 from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Farmersville United Methodist Church in Carl’s memory.
