Bobbie M. Brown

Bobbie M. Brown, of Carlisle, Ohio, passed away on August 26, 2026, at Kettering Hospital after a battle with cancer. He was born on August 4, 1976, in Dayton.

Bobbie attended Carlisle High School, class of 1994. He worked as an electrician, a trade that reflected his steady hands and hardworking nature. Outside of work, he enjoyed playing darts and pool and spending time hanging out with his friends. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bobbie had a special love for classic cars and found great enjoyment in driving them and working on them.

Family meant a great deal to Bobbie. He is survived by his fiance Christy Boyce, his mother, Cindy Payne (Johnny Murphy); sister, Holly O'Callaghan and her husband Mike; and his sons, Johnny Foxx and Austin Hanson. He is also survived by his nieces, Breona Foxx, Lyssa Worley and Katelyn Kish, his best friend Jason (Heather) Roach and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his brother, William Kish; his grandmother, Wanda Madewell; his step-father, William Payne; and his cousin and best friend, Jake Sumpter.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 5-7pm at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown.  Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 10:30am, with burial immediately following at Germantown Union Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses and to purchase a headstone.
