Blair A. Bussard

Blair Arthur Bussard, age 70 of Dayton, OH passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.  He was born on May 5, 1954 to the late Arthur and Loretta Bussard and graduated from Miamisburg High School, class of 1972.  Blair most enjoyed his employment as a Police officer at Miami Township Police Department, and as a Park Ranger at the Dayton MetroParks.  He lived his whole life in the Dayton Metro area and enjoyed camping, guns, and building with his hands.  Blair is survived by his daughters Rebecca Bussard (John Schaeffer), Rachel Lander (Ian), and Leslie South (Justin), his 3 grandchildren Aurora, Cale and Everett, as well as ex-wives Deborah Bennett and Margaret (Miller) Phillips.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 6-8 PM at Arpp, Root and Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown.  He will be laid to rest at a private committal service next to his parents at Dayton Memorial Park.
