Billie Jean Spencer, a radiant soul whose heart was as expansive as her compassion, passed away on June 25, 2025, at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, Ohio, following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 8, 1972, in Middletown, she leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.
Billie graduated from Middletown High School in 1991, further pursuing her dreams with a Business degree from Fayetteville Tech and a Nursing Degree from Clark State. Her career as a nurse showcased her unwavering dedication to caring for others, most recently serving as a traveling agency nurse.
Outside of her professional life, Billie was known for her zest for life and her creative spirit. She immersed herself joyfully in hobbies that brought her peace and satisfaction, including playing pool and engaging in crafting, delighting in the art of re-purposing items with a unique touch.
Survived by her loving boyfriend, John Dennis, and her devoted family, including her mother, Sheila (Reynolds) Clark; father, Michael Clark; brother, Michael Clark; and her cherished nephew, Trevann Clark. Billie also leaves behind her forever friends, Heather Terrell, Tawnia Gorsuch, Jamie Wright, and Christine Getz whose bonds enriched her life immeasurably.
Billie Jean Spencer’s essence will forever reside in the hearts she touched and the memories they created together. The world is dimmer without her light, yet her spirit will continue to inspire love and compassion in all who had the fortune of knowing her.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 12:00PM at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00am. Burial immediately following the funeral at Butler County Memorial Park.
