Archie Cope

Archie F. Cope, age 74 formerly of Germantown passed away Friday September 27,2013 in Lexington, KY.  Archie was born in Jackson, Ky the son of the late Warren Cope and Nancy (Turner) Stricker. He retired in 1996 from the Mound Facility. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step father Harold Stricker and son Warren Cope and his wife Katherine. He is survived by his wife Cathy, sons Harold (Annie) Cope and Nathan (Theresa) Cope, daughters Amber (Dave) Boehnlein and Heather (Brent) Heitzenrater, grandchildren Alex Cope, Maddie Paxson, Taya Paxson and Justin Stubbs, great grandchildren Sierra Stubbs, Desirae Stubbs and Saber Stubbs. Memorial services will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday October 1, 2013 at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home.
