I worked with Ted many years ago in City government here in Germantown. He was a very nice person, a true gentleman, a pleasure to be with, and he contributed much to making his community a better place to live. Prayers for the family! He will be missed!

When I think of papaw Landis, I think of trips to water plant, seeing him come in thru the kitchen door and wondering what he was tinkering with out in the garage. I also think of pancakes, his were the absolute best weekend treat. He was always kind, extremely humble, served his community well and loved his family, thats what Ill remember most. Lifting you up in prayer and sending all my love.

Sandy and family, you have our deepest condolences on Ted's passing. He was a wonderful man and gave so much to our community as mayor for so many years. I will miss seeing him when he was outside and I would walk past your house. We pray that God gives you comfort as you go through these next days, weeks and months. Sadly, we will be unable to be with you for the visitation or service next Tuesday. Karen Carmickle and Mark Heistand

We extend our sympathy to you Sandy and the entire family. Enjoyed getting to know Ted while working at Emmanuel's Lutheran church as the secretary/bookkeeper way back when. And Kendall worked with him many times at the Gazebo for community events when he was mayor trying to get him close enough to the microphone when speaking. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
