Russell Melampy

Melampy, Russell L., age 75 of Franklin passed away June 5, 2016 at Heartland of Centerville.  He was born in Dayton, OH to the late Willard and Evelyn (Poindexter) Melampy.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Raymond and Billy Melampy.  He is survived by 2 sons Russell L. Melampy II, and John Jacob Melampy, and 2 daughters Ann Margaret Melampy and Mary Frances Miller, his brother Harold Melampy, his sister Phyllis Carpenter, and 8 grandchildren.  There will be a memorial service on Saturday June 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St. in downtown historic Germantown.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Dayton.
