Randy Benson

Benson, Randy R. “RB”, age 63 of Germantown passed away December 20, 2015 of cancer.  He was born May 26, 1952 to parents Roy and Irene (Windle) Benson.  He was a 1970 graduate of Valley View High School and served in the US Army in Korea.  RB was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2292, he served 8 years as a German Township trustee, was a nature enthusiast, and loved the outdoors.  RB was preceded in death by his parents; brother Gary, and special dog Pearl.  He is survived by his wife of 20 years Vickie (Cheh) Benson; sister-in-law Ellen Gail Olsen and her husband Arthur Olsen.  RB will be cremated and disposition will be at the convenience of his wife.  In lieu of flowers, RB requests donations be made to the German Township Fire and EMS.  Services provided by Arpp & Root Funeral Home.

Vickie, Jim and I were so sorry to hear of your loss of Randy.We just now heard about it.He was always so friendly and we always enjoyed running into him and Pearl on our hikes.Please let us know if you ever need anything and we will be happy to help you.Take care.

Vicki my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family I grew up on maple street next door to randy and gary ,we had the best times growing up in that old platt,my sister and I, loved to come out to your woods and party,and camp out do some shooting . Stephanie loved the card games when she would come home to visit, at tommies house those were some good times. be strong knowing what a good man randy was if theres a heaven he will be there god bless your family erich clasen
