Patricia Rich

Patricia Rich, age 63 of Germantown passed away Sunday August 12, 2012 at the Atrium Medical Center in Middletown. Born in Middletown, OH. the daughter of Lester and Eileen (Peffly) DeGroat. Patricia was retired from the Middletown Regional Hospital, a life member of Middletown D.A.V.A.where she served as Past Commander. She loved to crochet and was a member of the Germantown Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her mother Eileen and her husband Curtis Rich (CE). She is survived by her father Lester DeGroat of Farmersville, brother Rick and his wife Donna DeGroat of Farmersville, nephews Duane (Ashley) DeGroat, and Brian (Nicole) DeGroat both of West Alexandria. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday August 16, 2012 at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home Germantown, Pastor Gary Wheeler officiating. Burial Highland Cemetery , Miamisburg. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family suggest if so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Germantown Senior Citizens Center in Patricia’s memory. On line condolences may be sent to the family at www.arpprootfh.com

so sorry for your loss. Pat and I had worked together for a long time at the hospital. Often we would go to breakfast on Sat. am with a bunch from the hospital, you know the ole retirees. She was always a real joy to be around,and will truly be missed.
