Our sincerest condolences to Norm's family on the loss of a wonderful man.Norm was a legend, particularly in the area of music. His Valley View bands were easily the best of their time, and his shows were memorable and entertaining. He was a friend and mentor to so many in our profession, and he shared his knowledge and musicianship freely. We were lucky to be able to take advantage of this at Purdue University Bands.Norm will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have met him, but we take solace in the belief that he is now performing on a much bigger stage with all the great artists who arrived before him.Enjoy the show, my friend!

Polly, I'm so sorry to hear about Norman. It seems like only yesterday that you were heading off for a honeymoon in Hawaii. Or, so I seem to recall. Time does fly but memories remain. My sympathy goes out to you and your family. Hugs, Sally

It was my pleasure to be able to care for Norman the past month while he was at the facility I worked at. He told me a lot of great stories about his life and we watched Family Feud fast money together. My heart goes out to Polly and the rest of the family. I wish you peace of heart. Norman is now in the perfect place.
