Mary Izor

Izor, Mary C., age 93 of Germantown passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties after a brief illness. Mary was born on August 14, 1922 to the late Harry and Myrtie Boyer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 6 sisters, 1 brother, her husband Herbert and son Michael A. Izor. Mary is survived by her very special friend Robert Schell, her sons David E. (Lou) Izor, and Brad S. Izor. Her grandchildren Andrew (Anna), Gillian, Whitney Izor (Michael Heroux), Seth (Angie), Justin (Jamie) and Spencer; great grandchildren Emmaline, Samuel, Liam, Anna, Aiden, Bailey, Dylan, and Peyton, and many nieces and nephews. Mary was a lifelong member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Germantown. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 7, 2015 at 10:00am at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St. Germantown, with Rev. Rich Luh officiating, interment to follow at Germantown Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Friday, November 6, 2015. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may directed to Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, or St. John’s UCC.
