Linda Mathews

Linda E. Mathews of Dayton passed away Saturday July 22, 2017 at St. Leonards Sr. Living.  She was born in Greensboro, N.C., the daughter of the late Earl Sr. and Laura Frances Smith.  She graduated from Germantown High School and then graduated from Good Samaritan Nursing College.  Linda was a nurse and retired from Sycamore Hospital.  She is survived by her 2 sons, Michael Mathews and Joseph (Denise) Mathews, daughters Jennifer (Glen) Haagensen and Mary (Eric) Carlson.  One brother Ed Smith, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown with a one hour visitation beginning at 11:00am prior to the service.
