I met Jean Ann in kindergarten and she was one of my close friends until we graduated from high school. We used to walk to school together or carpool. She has kept in touch often until her recent illness and I am going to miss hearing from her about what is going on with her family and people where we grew up. Jack and I enjoyed meeting with her and Jack for dinner on our infrequent visits to Ohio. There was no one else like her, she will be missed.

Jean Ann and I were neighbors in high school. Many wonderful memories of fun at her home where she always had something fun to do and wonderful events to share. I was so glad when I found her on Facebook and got to share time with her again. Time with her was a blessing. May the time when you can think of all the fun and happy times with her come soon.

I only reconnected with Jean Ann a few years ago via Kay Fox Jaynes, after some 56 years since high school days. I didnt know about all of her professional accomplishments nor civic contributions to Germantown until reading her obituary. Im not surprised she didnt mention these things as Jean Ann was never a bragger. What she did tell me about, with pride and love ,was the family that she and Jack created. I am saddened that she could not stay longer with her beloved family and the rest of us who knew her as a friend. I know in my life, she will always be a reality.Sally Althoff

We enjoyed Jean Ann and Jack Brewer as friends for many years in Germantown. Friendly, funny, helpful and always willing to do whatever was asked. Great creative Halloween costumes too. We will miss her, along with all of her many friends. Margaret and Noel Watson

What a wonderful person she was. She was a mentor to all of us even in high school.Always active, always fun to be around. Our parents were great friends... Along with the Toedtmans, Althoffs. They loved those Bridge and Pinocle nights. I loved playing golf with Jean Anne down in Middletown...except when she out drove me ...I can only imagine how good of a teacher she was.... Following such teachers as Norma T., Carson, Lindsay, Baker.Life was good at GHS...Often due to Jean Ann.
