Gerarld Miller

Miller, Gerald E. (Jerry) age 69, of Germantown passed away Tuesday at Hospice of Butler and Warren Co. Jerry was the son of the late Gerald E. and Ellen Betty (Gibson) Miller. He was a graduate of Franklin High School class of 1963. He was a former employee of the Union Camp in Franklin and was an Insurance Agent until his retirement. He was an active member of the Franklin J.C. and the Huseton Woods Sailing Club. Jerry enjoy talking with friends and was always quick with a joke. He is survived by his wife Ann, daughter Tonya (Richard) Scott of N.C., brother Herbert (Sandy) Miller of Springboro, 4 grandchildren Hannah, Christan, Ian and Adam. Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday January 11, 2014 at Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin. The family will receive friends 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home Germantown.  . To all of Jerry's family, please accept our condolences.Over the past 20+ years the "Golden Girls" and their spouses have gathered many times and even spent a few vacations together.We will always cherish those memories and remember Jerry as the one who kept us all laughing.His witty sayings and wry humor was such a treat at all of those gatherings.We will miss him tremendously.Rest in Peace, Jerry Love, Charlie and Elva McLemore

Ann and Tonya, Gerald was such a wonderful guy and a great friend. I cannot think of him without a giggle. He always made everyone smile especially with tales of the sheep. He will be sorely missed.
