Evelyn King

Evelyn L. King, age 91, of Miamisburg passed away April 8, 2015 at Heartland of Miamisburg. Evelyn was born March 29, 1924 in Wheeling West Virginia, to Tom and Grace Larson. She was a member of the Oasis Church in Middletown. Preceded in death by her daughter Roxanne Wright and a brother Tom Larson Jr. Evelyn is survived by her husband Loyd, and her Oasis family. Evelyn was retired from Delco Moraine. She help in the construction of the Oasis Church doing many jobs. In her earlier years she enjoyed oil painting, looking for rocks in the Rockies Mountain and loved to crochet. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home Germantown, Pastor Tim Sheets officiating. With burial to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral Home.

Dear Lloyd, Rest assured that Evelyn will be joyously waiting with open arms to welcome all her friends and loved ones when their time on earth is up.We offer our deepest sympathy on the loss of Evelyn. We admired and loved her and her great enthusiasm for the Lord throughout our Home Cell Group days of the 1980s into the 1990s and beyond. She and you Lloyd have left us with many blessed memories.
