Polly and Becky, My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your extended family on the passing of your dad. The importance of a farmer was recently shown as a super bowl commercial "So God Made A Farmer". It originated from a speech made by Paul Harvey at the 1978 National Future Farmers of America Convention. It is a very moving tribute to the Farmers of America and made me reflect on the many families in the area that made it their life's work. A farmer like Emmert is truly a special kind of person. Jim

Marlin and I were sorry to hear about Emmert passing. We always enjoyed our visits with him, especially me. I always had fun going going to Arcadia riding his Gator, being taken for a ride in his boat. going to WAlmart. going out to eat with all of you. He was never sure about me because I talked so much. But he always smiled. My kind of guy. Carol Weaverent2tenc
