From the day John & Jean introduced themselves to us (as the new neighbors) 27 years ago, we knew God had Blessed us with wonderful neighbors. After loosing John several years ago, Jean remained vibrant & busy until she fell ill. It has truly been our pleasure to have known both of them. Our hearts & prayers go out to her loved ones as they lay her body to rest. The heavenly chior has added another rejoicing voice to its numbers and she has been reunited with her beloved John.

Jean personally invited everyone at church to join the choir, had a joke to share on Wednesday nights before choir practice, and loved by all at Belmont United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Burns and her music classes were the highlight of my FHS years! Some of us planned to come sing when learning she was at Oak Creek Terrace but was not meant to be due to own personal illness. Now she enjoys the angels singing! A forever blessing to remember her as I knew her, in all her glory at FHS. Thank you God for her life, for precious memories, and for eternal life, all gifts from you.

I hardly know what to say other than she was a devoted teacher to all of her students. She loved us, disciplined us if needed and taught us many things thru music. She will not be forgotten.....loved her with all of my heart. She was truly an inspiration!
