"Don't cry because it is over; laugh because it happened" was once said about vacation being over.It is the same with life.My heart is sad because someone who has been a part of my life 65 years is gone.My heart is warmed by memories of Christmases and family gatherings and other joyous occasions. Many people I know now have her famous sugar cookie recipe :)I will always remember her laugh (much like Grandpa's) and her short temper.Somehow in the aging process I picked up a little of that Kurtz short temper.I wish they had kept it - ha.And, when mad, I will always remember her gritting her teeth and saying "I ought to knock you into next week"... Our prayers are for you as you endure this "good bye" process.God's grace is sufficient.
