Betty Erbaugh

February 28, 1920 — November 11, 2014

Erbaugh, Betty Jane, 94, of Farmersville, OH died peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on November 11, 2014.  Betty was born February 28, 1920 to the late Claude and Oma Reel, was a graduate of Farmersville School in Farmersville, OH.  She was a cafeteria cook for many years and a friend to all at Farmersville School.  She was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Valley View School as a member of the 1937-38 District Championship Basketball team.  Betty was a lifetime member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ingomar, Oh.  For many years she enjoyed playing euchre and bingo with her loving friends at the Farmersville Senior Center.  Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Erbaugh, loving son Richard E. Erbaugh, and loving grandson Michel D. Erbaugh.  She is survived by her daughter in law, Judy (Richard) Erbaugh, sons Donald (Janet) Erbaugh, and Kenneth “Dean” (Juanita) Erbaugh of Farmersville, OH.  Other survivors include grandchildren, Angie Erbaugh (Mark Degler) of West Alexandria, OH, Doug Erbaugh, Jeffrey (Missy) Erbaugh, Russell Erbaugh (Debby Holland), Aimee (Robert) Skiles all of Farmersville, OH, Dean J. (Melissa) Erbaugh of Germantown, OH, and Emily (George) Grove of Louisa, VA.  In addition, 13 beloved great grand children which she loved with all her heart.  The family will receive friends Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 11:00 am– 1:00 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2139 Enterprise Rd. West Alexandria, OH 45381 with funeral services to follow at 1:00.  Interment at Preble Memory Gardens with Pastor Laura Cavendish officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made in Betty’s name to the Farmersville Fire & Rescue, 207 N. Elm St., Farmersville, OH  45325.  Arrangements by Arpp & Root Funeral Home, Germantown, OH.
