Archie Richter

Richter, Archie Lee, age 76 of Germantown passed away July 27, 2021 at Southview Hospital. Archie was born in Logan, WV to the late Lee and Lillian (Neil) Richter. He was a Vietnam war veteran and served in the US Navy for 10 years on submarines and 5 of those years were spent under water. Archie enjoyed fishing, camping and family cookouts, he retired from the Dayton VA and after his retirement he enjoyed taking road trips. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson Brett Richter and his brother Roger Richter. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra (Baldridge) Richter, his children Todd Richter (Rhonda Mason), Michelle Richter (Freddie Riley), Tracy Richter (Johnna Jaco), and Timothy Richter, his grandchildren Justin, Spencer, Caleb, Kyle, Kody, Elijah, Bailey, Brenden, Ethan, Ian and Tristen, great grandchildren Josephine and Jacob, his sister Vanessa Atwood as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 1:30 PM at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown, burial immediately following at Germantown Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00.

Prayers are with the entire family. Archie was a wonderful friend and his greatest lovewas family. He was always there to help a friend. He made the world a better place for all those who knew him and will be missed by all.We love you Sandy and are here for you.
